Reward $7,850 for Information
Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes reports an increase in the reward money being offered for information on the murder of Vann Lee Yates. Due to contributions from friends and family, the total possible reward (including the Crime Stoppers reward) is currently $7,850.00. Crime Stoppers will pay up to this amount for information leading to an arrest or indictment of the individual(s) responsible for this crime.
Vann Lee Yates was killed on January 21, 2015 at his home on E. Fairfield Road in High Point. A witness described the suspects as two young black males, one with a notable scar or mark under his right eye. Composite sketches of both suspects have been included in previous press releases on this case.
